Great selection doesn't tranclate into great beer. I had the sampler and for the most part nothing really stood out. The IPA were really good, as was the Stout. Other than those, while a nice place to sit and visit, nothing great. However, I will go back on this fall when back for GABF.

We made a point to get over to Breckenridge during our trip to Denver for Great American Beer Festival. The brewery itself has a great setup, I loved that you can sit up front by the windows with a view of Coors Field. They have about 15 different brews available including a couple of guest taps. While the selection was good, the Breckenridge beers themselves were only "good" none I would consider outstanding or noteworthy.

wellthe beer was good but the food was just cutting it. Its dry and lacking the good wholesome bbq flavor. The Ipa is definetly worth a shot.At 9.6% its no joke. Try it in the 22oz bobmber for the best flavor in my opinion. The bartenders lack personality, but the customers make up for that. Ask for the tour, but don't get a guy named stew he acts like he doesn't want to be there.

There should be something higher than awsome. The stout/porter is a chucle maker and that IPA, even I declare a truce in search for more hops. Have it as a black and tan. I regularly introduce my sailing students to this place. Longer opening hours would suite me but make the effort. A good friendly place, full scale rudness by one and all as any pub should be. Chatter, relaxation, best BBQ in town and I wish I lived nearer. If the IPA is on tap, treat it with care. This place will always be one of my resting places after a days sailing.

I've patronized the Breck on Blake a number of times and was looking forward to getting to this location, which serves as their brewing and bottling facility. Good operation; on my visit they offered a double-hopped IPA which was superb. It's part of the "special 471" series of brewmaster specialities that change each month. They also had their splendid Hefe, Oatmeal Stout, Porter, and their flagship amber "Avalanche." I'll have to catch the food on a return visit; I'm told they serve up some killer BBQ. Also, the crowd is predominately neighborhood folks - friendly, laid back and lots of fun. Check it out!

The Pale Ale was good and hoppy. The Hefe Proper was also really good - I bought a six pack to take back to West Texas (where the Coors Light drinkers consider Lonestar to be one of them fancy micro brewed beers).

I admit I showed up late on a game day, but they were out of the three beers I wanted to try and what I ended up with was a so-so beer. The bartender didn't know a thing. It looks like a great room, but get there early if you want a selection of their beers.

Nice small bar and restaurant connected to the microbrewery. Locals and bartender were very friendly!..unusual at other Denver BPs for sure. Nice blue collar feel, not the usual stuck up yuppies at the brass and glass BPs A MUST stop !!! Heavenly Daze right down the road...worth a stop too

Do you like awesome Bar-B-Que for a budget price? This is the place. Walk in, place your order at the kitchen, and you walk away with your meal in a no-frills basket right past the bar to a table with great view of the brewhouse. As always excellent pours abound, including seasonals (the Christmas ale is delicious as is the Raspberry Porter). The odd location is well worth seeking out.
