Major road construction along Cerillos Rd. made it a pain in the butt finding/getting to the place but very glad I didn't blow it off. A helpful hint in finding it,a strip mall at the NE corner of Cerrilos Rd. & Rodeo Rd. Nice large bar area with plenty of TVs. Service was a little slow to start with but got better. The IPA was down when I ordered so I opted for an Atomic Blond. Not bad. Changed to the End of the Trail Brown Which was more to my liking. Rounded out the visit with a specialty brew, the Marble Red. Very hoppy but great. Based on other reviews, had to try the Carne Adovada. WOW! Worth going there just for the food. And the menu made me wish I'd have had a chance to try a couple other things but such is the downfall of being a tourist. Large, airy dining room. Full bar also.

Had read about The Blue Corn on this sight so ad an idea of what to expect. The Atomic Blond was our favorite, although I did enjoy he End of Trail Brown. service was good in both locations but went for the beer. We did enjoy!!! Will return next time in Santa Fe.

I visited the Second St. location in 2005 and liked the carne adobada so much that I ordered it again this year at the Cerrillos location and was not disappointed. It's chunks of pork cooked in adobo sauce, very spicy and very filling. I started with the wheat ale, then I think I had a brown, finally the American pale ale. All were enjoyable if not superb. The food is definitely better than most brewpub fare. When in Santa Fe, it's the place to go. Nice souvenir glasses, too.

Stopped by during a cross-country vacation trip. Was impressed by the variety of brews available. I ordered the sampler tray which consisted of all of the regular selections, plus three seasonals. Most of the beers seemed to be a bit thin/watery in body. I did like the Organic IPA, which at 100 IBUs and 9.0 was definitely a tough customer.
I was least impressed with the Honeymoon Wheat Ale, which possessed some flavors that I don't expect from a wheat. The Atomic Blonde Ale was practically devoid of flavor and body - a good thirst quencher, perhaps.
The service and food were excellent.

I stopped in just to have a sampler, which consisted of nine beers. They were all served a little warm for my taste and I don't like ice cold beer. I didn't care for the wheat ale, the hefeweizen or the red. ( so-called "red" ale is my least favorite style), but I thought that the IPA and :Organic Primal Ale weer excellent. I also like the pale and the stout. We didn't eat, since we only had one dinner left in Santa Fe and to flip a coin to choose between Second Street and Blue Corn. Second Street won, but I wish Blue Corn had. It's a lot cleaner. From my very limited experience I would recommend this as a good stop for any beer lover.

great ambiance with an outdoor deck that gets just the right amount of sun.
The IPA was favourful and hoppy. Try the chile fries. They're worth the artery clogging contents.
The service was friendly and attentive. Well laid out interior bar.

Stopped in for lunch during summer vacation to Santa Fe. Actually we liked it so much, stopped again later that night. I had the Hefe, which was excellent, kind of tasted like a Paulaner style Hefe. Wife had the Brown which was very good also. They serve some excellent Mexican food at this place. Service and prices were both very good. Was the highlight of our stay in Santa Fe.

Seems like a typical brewpub, decent but not memorable beers. Great selection, did the sampler which contained 7 beers that night. The one beer I didn't like at all was the brown, it had a very odd taste, and wasn't what you would expect from a brown at all. The golden, pilsner were pretty much average. The pale, red, & wheat beers were better, but again not outstanding. The best of the bunch was easily the porter...great balance, and finish. If I went back I would definately stick to that beer.

I rate this place high, mainly because the Southwestern menu was excellent, bucking the trend of most brewpubs to have great beer but lousy food, or vice versa. The beer was pretty fine, not world class, though. I was there way back the week before 9/11/2000, so I won't try to rate the beer from memory, though I may turn up some tasting notes. Anyway, the food was so good, my wife wanted to come back again, and she doesn't drink.

We were served a very good Honeymoon Wheat and a surprisingly well-made English Mild. Unfortunately, even the best beers don't pair well with the pushy service we experienced--not to mention entrees that turned cold long before they should have. Next time I visit this establishment, I'll sit at at the bar and eat elsewhere.

The decor is pre-fab pueblo in this recently built restaurant out near the interstate on Santa Fe's main drag, but there was nothing pre-fab about the beer. Honey wheat, a style I generally avoid, had just the right balance of flavors to make it interesting, and the Abbey ale, while tasting a bit too much like alcohol in the initial sips, soon mellowed into a delicious and complex brew worthy of your serious consideration. Highly recommended.
