My friends and I were very loyal and enthusiastic Melton's patrons for months until tonight when we were the victims of some bait and switch fraud, about which the pub seemed unapologetic. We would go to Melton's every Thursday for the 1/2 off appetizers special. We ordered food and drink and enjoyed both fully until the bill came and it turns out that the particular appetizers we ordered were only 1/4 off. Nowhere did it state this exception to the advertised "Half off appetizers." When we asked a manager about this, all we got was "That's been the policy for a year now, we used to have it stated, but not any more." No remorse or apology. Wrong Answer!!! Melton's will not see our business again.

This is a nice little local pub. Great slections of draft beers along with very tasty food. Don't expect anything fancy (atmosphere reminds me of a 70's bar), just friendly people serving great food and drink.

Melton's is a great place to get a meatloaf sandwich, drink a beer from almost anywhere, and chat with Maggie the bartender. But don't try to steal her...she's mine!

We would have a better beer selection if not for the laws of the state. All the food is made from scratch and we take great pride in our food quality. Our new location just needs some good beer loving folks to come in and make it home for it to be the same friendly place as our Medlock location. We can provide the food and beer, but we need you guys to have a good atmosphere.

This is a great neighborhood bar with an outstanding selection of beers on tap. Food is standard bar issue. But if that’s what you are in the mood for this is the place to go. I live next to the new location in Oakhurst...it’s worth the drive to the N. Decatur location. The food quality and sterile atmosphere are just wrong.

While I didn't want to up and leave this place, i can really think of no reason to journey back. Journey is the word. If you live in the area, you have a decent little joint, cutting everything pretty fair. Doesn't deserve a long commute across town, however.

Melton's ASB is my favorite beer, hands down. Not too light, not too heavy. And they have homemade pretzels and terrific nachos. What more would a beer drinker want?

Excellent selection of beers for what otherwise would appear to be just a neighbornood bar. Food is mostly along the lines of appetizers (hence the name), but is well prepared and tasty.
