I will never go back to this bar again. Apparently you have to have an accent or a gang of tattoo's to get cordial service, because the staff was rude to us, glared at us for (OH NO!) laughing and having a general good time at their establishment, and with no reason given, asked to leave. this is, of course, after putting about $250 in their cash register and over $60 in tips. We enjoy a good pub, good beer, good friends and good laughs and apparently outside of the beer the rest is frowned upon so we'll just take our business back to Streets and Socals, where laughter and merriment is encouraged! Screw this place!

BonnLair is an East Sac gem. The beer selection is great, the atmosphere is a blast. I would recommend the BonnLair to anyone.

Best fish and chips in the US so far. (But I have a secret about the kitchen).
Scotsman behind the bar is straight from the land of the haggis!

This is another real McCoy (so to say!. This is like a real, neighborhood pub in the UK. It is small and cozy, great beer selection. The Bonn Laire has been a generous supporter of local sports clubs in soccer and rugby. This is a good spot to view a televised futbol match, or series of events like the Women's World Cup! They pour an excellent pint of Guiness. They have excellent food, especially the Fish and Chips!
CHEERS!

The bar is small and it gets rather crowded in that area, but the crowd is very friendly and it's a great place to just hang out and have a few beers.

Very small, cozy English pub, near Sacramento State Univ. Good selection of English & Irish beers, plus good old Sierra Nevada. Great neighborhood pub, with darts. Limited menu.

An English Pub with over a dozen imports/micros on draft plus another dozen or so in bottles. Along with being a great beer pub this is a very soccer friendly pub with most major games on tv. Beer selection includes English, Irish, German, Belgian, Czech and US Micros plus draft Cider.
