The White Owl was where XO and AXO sisters "whooted" back in the halcyon late 80's: great pub food, Utah's infamous 3.2 beer in ice-cold frosted glasses and pitchers, major cute guys, and lots of friends. Heavy Greek traffic at the time: favorite haunt of SX, SN, PKA and SAE. Owner and his wife were great and allowed monthly *bar tabs* to those of us they knew well. Have many fond memories of nights on the deck looking at the lights of Happy Valley discussing classes, snow conditions at Beaver, various Professors, upcoming Greek events, and our nebulous plans for the not-too-distant future when we actually graduated from USU and entered the "real world" and had "real" jobs.

For a bar in Logan, it's definitely the best one in town. Compared to bars in Salt Lake County, it's not up to par with them. Still a great bar overall. The deck up top is a nice section to sit in weather permitting.

The brick building is great, but many staff members have been there so long they think they can get away with treating people like crap. Beware.

Go to the Owl if you are looking for Giant Mugs of Beer: "Big Dogs" and good times with good friends! The food is Excellent! I recommend the Chicken Philly Sandwich or the Chicken Pasta Salad. No trip to the Owl is complete without a huge side order of their famous jalapeno pickles: they can't be beat! Enjoy!

Best service in town; the wait staff know you by name. Love the food, but man, french fries would make it all the better. Being able to sit out on the deck during the summer makes this spot special.

I used to frequent this pub when I was a graduate student at Utah State University. I had some memorable encounters at this fabulous hangout. In my opinion, it had the best burger in town, and it was also the place to find the hottest chicken wings in town as well. The 32 oz. Big Dogs of beer certainly helped to digest the delicious food!

Left Logan this morning---spent Thnkagiving there---Who was that duo who entertained last night? Are they regulars? Nathan Thomas (sp) and Bridget I think they were---they were sensational---Great Music--fabulous humor---Hope you have them regularly---will look forward to seeing/hearing them again --Your place is really cool too !!

The best place in Logan for a beer/food. Very smokey. Live Music. Beer is cheap and comes in 32 oz. Mugs.
