some peeps like to dis the chains, but i find the rams, and bighorns to be tops among the chains and this is no exception; consistent beer styles and food menu. and cant beat em for sports....carry football and nhl....life is good.
didnt eat, but food looked just as i remembered. i try to support the local brewpubs first, but would have to say that i prefer the ram over the hollow in boise.

Location is fabulous and central. Food selection and quality is over-hyped. The beers are OK but the service is horrid.

Great location, beers were decent. Food was a joke... everything swimming in grease.... Drink here only, eat somewhere else unless you have a serious case of constipation; the greasy food will definately solve that problem

The pub is located in a great location with a nice patio facing the river, however, the food is some of the worst I have had (unless you really like tons of grease)and the microbrews are average. If you are just going to meet friends for beers on the patio, this is a nice choice, but don't go there for dinner.

Sits right on the Boise River. Buttface Ale is a good brew. The appetizer sampler platter is a must to order.
