The Taphouse in VA Beach is closed. The Taphouse Grill in Ghent, located in Norfolk, is still going strong.

The atmosphere is very uninviting! It's unfortunate. One gets the impression that these people have never seen a nice brew pub.

Great Great Great Great Great
This establishment is owned by the same owners as the Norfolk branch. It has been opened for approximately 2 years. They have the coolest thing - beer tastings. A multi-course meal is served, with two beers with each course. The owner describes the brewing process as each beer is sampled to the table of participants. I learned more about brewing in one night than ever before.
