I haven`t been here for awhile but if your into college bars it`s a good time.I don`t really dig albany as a whole but if your in town check it out.

I LOVE PAULY'S HOTEL. ST PATRICKS DAY IS THE BEST DAY ALL YEAR WHEN THEY OPEN AT 7 AM. ALSO THE BARTENDERS ARE UNREAL WITH THEIR TRICKS, SUCH AS JON NIXON, GIO, AND JOEY FAGAN. THE BOUNCERS ARE ALSO REALLY BIG TONY SAVINO. THEY TEND TO BRING PEOPLE UP ON THE BAR AND MAKE THEM CHUG PITCHERS OF LONG ISLAND ICED TEAS, AND BEER. THE LADIES LOVE THE BARTENDERS AND PAULY'S IS ALWAYS A GOOD TIME.

if you are underage this is a good bar just chalk your id its a great place to meet college girls even though the place itself is not that great.it a great place when its not crowded ussally close around four i know this because there was a few nights where me and my freinds were the last ones there

Homeless people hang out in front of this place, It's in one of the worst blocks in Albany.Bring a cop as a date.

Albany's oldest continually operating bar, and worth a visit for that. But the beer selection is largely mainstream (lots of taps, but almost all doubles -- FIVE Miller High Life taps!), it's full of drunks and college students, and there's holes in the floor. Gotta be honest: not a place I could drink real comfortably at my age. Years ago, maybe.

This place has been around *forever*. I still remember when they had a *7AM* happy hour! I've spent many hours here listening to great local and regional bands. A memorable place, but not for its beer or food.

Thursday nights are free beer till twelve. It's not the best quality of beer but it's always cold and the bartenders do a great job so you won't be waiting long. After twelve, domestics are $2.00. A great place to have a good time.
