Please note that Vine Park is a BOP, Brew on Premises operation and no longer has a resturant nor serves beer. We have relocated about 2 miles down W.7th to 1254 W. 7th.

Vine Park is closed now.
They are however moving their Brew-Your-Own facilities along with the rest about 2 miles away.
Re-opening there during 2004.

The bar area has a modern look and feel to it. We had lunch on their attractive patio. The beers are generally good....the IPA was OK, but I'm a hophead so while it was "good", it wasn't something to go out of your way for. They did have a good solid stout, a great nut brown and I also really liked their maibock a lot. They had an interesting scotch ale, just a tad smoky for my taste but others might like it. The hefewiezen I thought was merely average. The food was pretty good, try their signature "maranga fries". Overall, not the best brewpub in the Twin Cities but definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

The good news is that this is the only true "brew pub" that had "light" beers that I like. Both the North Lights Ale and the light lager were very good. The lager was said to have german hops but seemed to have a nice Saaz taste as well... could be wrong. The bad news, the IPA is NOT hoppy which was disappointing. The award winning brown was smooth but not memeorable and the stout was as good as I have had. Finally, the specialty, a bavarian lager, was excellent. All in all, I would recommend making an effort to visit.

Only a handful of options, but the stout is pretty tasty. They recently had a very good heffe as well. I only sampled some lack-luster app's. they unfortunately suffer from twin-cities chic-all promise and no substance. definitely worth stopping by for a pop especially if you're in town for a wild game, but don't believe the BOTS-it's NOT the best of the twin cities, for that you'll have to hit town hall. There's also a brew-on-site operation but WAY too expensive. I suggest that the brewing room be vented into the bar-but I love the smell of boiling wort, that's just me.

I'm a big fan of Vine Park and go there often. I'll agree that the food is more of a focus than the beer, but, that's fine with me. I get great beer and even better food and service every time I'm there.

A very solid place. Excellent IPAs and other beers were equally tasty. Will go back to "brew my own" too!

Had their SAMPLER +two and found a number of them to be enjoyable. The Staff was interested & more than pleasant to talk to and they explained their BREW-your-OWN downstairs operation and how the locals use it. The place was clean and open space between tables & chairs. The fact that they do IN FACT offer Bud & Miller should not be a negative in anyones review... after all it's what you like and NOT the SNOBBERY that can follow any HANDCRAFTED products

I only had the pale, but found it to be very ordinary. The food was decent, but who goes to a brewpub for food? The focus here is definitely not the beer--simply witness the glass cases of Miller and Bud Products on display. Beer purists go elsewhere--there are too many establishments in the area where beer is the focus to waste time here.

The brew selection was good. We prefer dark beers and the stout was yummy! THE CHICKEN WINGS ARE TO DIE FOR!!!! Dry rub, not sloppy. A very nice place to sit in and relax, enjoy friends and drink some good beer.

This place is suppose be a brewpub. I found their beers to all be very thin and lacking "character". Seems as though they hold back ever so slightly or try to "stretch" the brews ingredients ever so much as to less the overall impact of the beers particular style. I had impressions of a microbrewed beer produced by a large brewery. On the positive side; the food was quite excellent as well as the service.

All brewpubs should be measured by this one. All the beers sampeled were excellent. The bar and restaurant are well designed. The outdoor dining is ample and the perfect setting to impress a date. Adjacent to the bar is an area where you can brew your own beer. The only bad points are that they do not have logo costers and they serve unapproved beer (bud). Didn't try the food while I was there.

Begin with a staff that is hostile if you don't "check in at the service counter." Add beers that are very thin in flavor, if not actually undrinkable. Toss in overpricing and too much "attitude." I had warmly anticipated a visit, but found Vine Park to be the bottom of the barrel.
