This place is an informal, laid-back gem. Thirty-two taps and a bartender who really knew her products! Judging from all the autographed and annotated dollar bills plastered all over the ceiling, walls, (and bicycle), many people have had a great time in this pub!

Having moved to Jacksonville around six months ago, I have had ample opportunity to check out the local beer/bar scene and can honestly say that Lynch's is a class act. OK, the beers are not that unique but the establishment is. In this day and age decent pubs are hard to find and Lynch's especially do not skimp on their entertainment or drink selection. Pricing and quality of product is exemplified in this establishment, with a good cold beverage, the correct level of gas and the right service attitude being the norm here. Indeed, the place may be missing some of the bells and whistles one might attribute to a typical Irish pub but they most certainly have the fundamentals down to a tee. The only negative is that parking can sometimes be an issue. One of the best in the area!

WE love this place so much we drove from Panama City to Jacksonville just to visit Lynches before we came back Home to Bridgeport Ohio. Haven't been to Florida for the past 4 summers but We will be visiting you guys again The week of June 11th

Hi, I have been to Florida several times and love Lynches Pub, although it will never be the same without Des (RIP) but the staff is fantastic, I've never seen such good looking bar staff! Dee, Pearse and Keith total babes!!!!

Picture this, I am walking down 1st Street in Jacksonville Beach at 10:30am on a Saturday. I hear a crowd cheering as I pass by an establishment called Lynch's Irish Pub. Upon entering the building I get the feeling that I have died an gone to heaven as I am surrounded by a group of Scottish and Irish folk enjoying a Glasgow Celtic football match live. I was instantly made to feel extremely welcome and realised that I had found my new local. Having lived in Jacksonville for around four months now after moving from London, England I had given up hope of finding a watering hole that would help me get over my feelings of homesickness. Lynch's extensive import beer selection and european-style menu has given me the cultural injection that I needed to feel part of a community again. Keep up the good work Lynch's!

Best DRAFT selection in Jacksonville (fact). The oldest and still the best authentic Irish Pub around. Also, there is always a different band playing every night. We love it. We will also miss you Des.

1500 selections of bottled beer is not the same as a nicely poured Guinness or a tasty wheat draft. The food is excellent too. Desmond prided himself on putting out quality plates of food. And the service, typically Irish (with an attitude). O'Kanes is a steakhouse that serves Guinness (not a pub).

Lynches, the best beer selection at the beach? You must be kidding. Just down the street is Paradise Alley, they have over 1500 different types of beer. Lynches has 30-35 tops. As for them replicating an Irish Pub, marginal at best. O'Kanes in Frenandina is much better. However I must rate Lynches the #1 trendy Irish (like) Pub in Jacksonville.

I'm gay and go there with my straight friends and have never had a problem. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. It's a place where beer freaks and hardcore partiers can co-exist in harmony. One of a kind.

Lynch's has the best beer selection at the beaches. I have lived in Jacksonville for nearly 10 years and have seen the city and surrounding area change so much. However, Lynch's has continued to maintain their high standards of great service, suitable entertainment and reasonable prices. It has been, and in my opinion, will always be the most authentic Irish Pub in Northeast Florida. Check it out!

I used to sing this pub's praises, but they are going down hill fast. They are overserving their clientele, and many of the staff must be on the early work release program from Duval County Corrections. During my last and final visit to the pub I was faced with not one but several groups of completely hostile, severly intoxicated, homophobic, people who should have been cut off long before we arrived. If you are that belligerent, and want to pick a fight, why would you do it with a group of gay boys who are just looking for good irish beer and atmosphere? Do you look like a bigger man (and in this case woman) for promising to punch 3 guys who weigh 150# if they don’t leave immediately because they don’t subscribe to your beliefs. This is where i really fault the management. After we got into a shouting match with the homophobes, the bouncers were called over, and escorted us out. Without asking what the situation was, and leaving the homophobes ensconced at their table. It has been my experience in any of the bars that I have been in all over the world, that any group of fighting individuals ALL get booted out. Not so at Lynch’s, where homophobia and outdated ethics reign supreme. I guess they have to cater to their largely red-neck, socailly retarded cromagnon bar clientele.

We spent 2 weeks on honeymoon in Florida.Lynchs pub was like being back home only slightly warmer!!Brilliant nights craic can't recommendant it enough!!Plus the waiting staff is pretty cute too!! I think Dee was the nicest!!!!!!!!!!!!!
