Alexander's is up and running. It's actually becoming much more of a music bar..Bands usually 4 days a week. This Friday, my band is playing there. They's open wed-sat. noon-2am, sunday noon - midnight. Definitely check it out, great place.

Alexander's is up and running. Open every day except Tuesday. Open Mike/Buffet on Wednesday nights. Live Music Weekends. Halloween Happenings. Pool Table. Good food, and great beer. Ice cream parlor on the side. Worth the trip. Bartender is a little flakey, but if you can get past Andy's personality its okay. Had another bartender in there for awhile, really good...don't know what happened to him. Blond guy. Oh well.

Haven't been there in a few months. Friends tried to go on a Friday not long ago and it was closed. I know it has a loose schedule but could be gone. If it is still in business it is well worth the trip. The bottled selection great. You can purchase singles to go. The food is pretty good. More of a deli type menu, sandwiches, etc. Well worth checking out.

Based on my conversations with the owner, Alexander's is open on a modified schedule of roughly Wed-Sat Noon - ? depending on business. This is a great little bar in a beautiful old building, run by some great people that the conservative township does not seem to like.
As the local University goes back in session, Alexander's plans on bringing back some of the bands and are having a haunted attraction through the month of October

Visited Reading, PA last week and was told that bar has been shut down, however deli with bottled micros and imports is available. Can anyone verify or correct this info?
