This operation has moved to Fort Worth, to the small brewing plant formerly operated by the now defunct Texas Beer Company. Hopefully they disinfected themselves from whatever funkiness contaminated just about all of their products before they moved. I'd love to support a local bottled beer, but they haven't earned my trade with past offerings.

I used to drink Yellow Rose all the time and thought it was decent beer. The ones I get now do not seem to be anywhere close to the way they used to be. What really bothers me is that the same labels are still used. It would be hard to tell if it is a new beer or a very old one. I wish they would at least put a small label on there and admit that they're the ones making the beers now.

Yuck. The flagship Texas Tornado would be adequate as a bargain brown ale for $1 pint night but does not compete at the craft brew pale ale level. This outfit is contract brewing some of the Balcones Fault recipes from that defunct brewery in Austin. Those labels, already bad when brewed in Austin, have not improved one bit. Steer clear!

I PERSONALLY HAVE TRIED ALL OF THE BEERS BREWED BY THIS BREWERY AND FOUND THAT THEY HAVE A HIGH QUALITY OF BREWS, I ALSO FOUND OUT THEY WILL BE PLACING SEVERAL NEW BEERS ON THE MARKET THIS SPRING. I HOPE THEY WILL BE AS GREAT AS WHAT THEY BREW NOW.

I stopped by this brewery recently, but found it looking somewhat abandoned. Their phone works, but all I get is voice mail and they didn't return my call. They call themselves the only microbrewery in Dallas. I've never seen their beer in stores in Austin.

I am really impressed with Texas Tornado! It has a nice British flavor to it. I would buy it anytime I needed to pick up some brew and could find it.

When this brew first hit the market it was decent in taste, although the color and mild flavor indicate brown ale as opposed to the stated pale ale style. Since then, both in bottle and on draft the impression has not been as good. I'd rate it now as a Shiner Bock competitor, not overly flavorful or full of character, but would be a good buy at $2.00 a pint.

GREAT product, (B.P.A style called Texas Tornado). Really nice guys run the place, Tim, Alex, and Joe. Call them on the phone. Not a pub, or bar...Simply a microbrewery. You have to hunt in the stores for their brew, but when you find it, you will, I think, agree that the hunt was worth it!
