Visits over the past couple of years have been to the pub entrance end of the bar. Good selection of pints to go with your meal, great pub grub, with lots of options. Ordering is at the bar Brit style, and service is very friendly and efficient. Live Oak beers on tap, always fresh pints, and interesting Scotch selection. Good piped in music, as opposed to some bars turning up the big screens too loud for conversation. Good stopping place for pint and grub.

Good patio and a good selection of beers. The food is a little heavy, but if you're looking for some yummy cheese fries to go with your beer, this is the place!

This is another of Austin's finest pubs located in a beautiful and historic building. The beer selection is excellent and the atmosphere is laid-back without putting you to sleep (thanks to a pretty good jukebox). We only drank at the bar, but I would recommend checking out the upstairs bar if you really want to relax.

Enjoyed the feel of an English pub in this 125 year-old building on New Year's Eve. The bar only holds about 8 people, allowing for some nice conversation with the very friendly bartenders. Many other rooms are available, too. The beer selection included many high-quality brews. Take the time to find this place; it's well worth it.
