Shots are not given when the train goes by but you get the best view in Depot town! The food is great and the staff is wonderful. You could have 2 or 3 people waiting on you all at one time but its just how they do it there. Everyone gets taken care of! I love the Sidetrack and it beats Aubrees hands down! Unless of course you want to play pool or darts.... :-(

A not too little place on the edge of Depot Town, with a fine selection of beers and a nicer-than-you-would-think menu. The staff is nice and usually quite attentive. A fav place to go in the winter especially if I can get next to the fireplace. Later in the evening the whole place is a smoking area.

Fun place with old world atmosphere. The new T-shirts are nice. Try the sweet potato fries if you want something different!

Best bar in Ypsilanti, hands down. its got a great atmosphere, very chill and relaxed with a great staff. The food is excellent and priced pretty decent. Located in old Depot Town along side the train tracks, its a perfect alternative to the frat-boy scene of Theos. And free shots every time a train passes is a nice touch.

Good Beer and great food. One of the best in the area. We love sitting on their patio and watching the trains.

16 brews on tap...Good selection of Bell's beer as well, including that yummy Oberon. A very down to earth, friendly "come as you are" kind of place. Burgers are awesome, fries ok..could be crispier and less greasy. If you sit out on the patio this summer, be prepared for the Amtrak train to roar by about 20 feet from the patio. They don't call it SIDETRACK for nothing!!

I highly recommend this place for anybody that wants a nice homey place to quaff a few pints. Please check it out and support the local beer scene. You won't be disappointed.
