Tried again for the first time in a while. Sorry, but I'm still not overly impressed by the quality. Nothing "big" if that's what you're in the market for. Beer generally clean but kinda ho-hum. It is what it is.

Very cool location, with great service. The beers although good, were a little too mainstream for my tastes. Perfect location for a "please most tastes" social gathering or sales meeting.

What can I say, it is usable beer from a chain. The beers are OK for what they are, but somewhat limited. Not a very big selection and nothing very exciting. The food is good, and the beer is consistent, so it is a can't miss place, if only for the reason that they don't aim very high.

German styles of beer; pils, marzen, hefe, etc. While the building is impressive, the beer is not. However, I'm sure the location and the mainstream character of the beer will insure lasting success for this brewpub. I like Barley's beers and selection much better than here.

I guess I am going to disagree with the last couple of reviews. I was more than content with the quality of the beer, food and service. I went here before a Blue Jackets game on a Sunday, so it was quite crowded and the service was excellent.

Beer-wise, this place stinks!! They offer your typical crowd pleasers: lager, amber, marzen and stout. But the beers have no flavor. This is a restaurant that just happens to brew beer on site. In my opinion, they don't care about their beer, so I won't drink it again. Barley's Brewing Company is one block away so walk the extra block and go to Barley's if you're looking for a true brewpub with real brewpub quality beer.

Only three beers on tap when I visited a few days ago - and they were described as a "light, a medium and a dark". Uh, thanks for the terrific descriptions...

Best in Columbus, but since Hoster has closed, there is little competition.

On a recent pre-business hours visit to GB, we had the pleasure of brewmaster Eric's company at a private screening of his current beers. Marzen and fest were both delicious, but my favorite was the Helles. It had a malty complexity and clean finish that was reminiscent of the fresh German Lagers I had at the White Horse on parson's Green in London at a rare Lager Fest there in 1997. Having visited a great many GB stores, this one is definately worth the trip. Great beer as I have come to expect from this better than average chain of outstanding brewpubs.

Very nice place, with a great loction. Excellent addition to the Columbus beer and social scene. Food and beer were good on a recent visit. The server seemed to know alot about their beers, which is rare in the chain pubs. Try the Blonde Bock - it looks light but it packs a punch.

A very good brew pub located close to the hockey arena of the Blue Jackets (Nationwide Arena). A limited selection, but I'd rather have a few good beers than a plethora of mediocre brews. They do make some lighter/chick beers for the barley malt challenged. My friend and I split a thin crust, meat lovers pizza which was very tasty. They do have a diverse menu, including veggie pizza, to suit almost everyone. A good stop when in Columbus.

Very, very, very limited beer menu for this chain of restaurants. Best of the bunch is a very good Marzen. Food is good, if not particularly noteworthy. Also, this place on weekend evenings can be a real singles meat market.

This place stays packed, standing room only on the weekends. It's a HotSpot in the arena district. The beer and food were good, the brews were all german styles and true to form. I really like their Seasonal Miabock and their Marzen. My buddy said the Dunkel was also good.
