If you like beer, this is the best pub in Ohio. Great selection of great beer on draught which changes on a regular basis. Staff and owner are good people. Their emphasis is on beer. The only great beer pub in Ohio. Also you will love their Hungarian pizza. Martin from St. Marys, OH

Most arrogant bar in the country? How about most arrogant bar owner in the country. Although their selection is good(most of the time), the beers at this bar are certainly overpriced. The worst thing about this bar is the owner: If he is tending bar, he usually hides in the back in the kitchen. The last two times I have been there , we waited about 15 minutes for a beer. Actually, the last time we left before we were served because no bartender appeared and went somewhere with better service. If anything, I would go to the Wine Cellar downstairs and pick up a few beers to go. Better yet, just go to Belmont Party Supply in Dayton for an amazing selection of craft brews.

I did not have the pleasure of visiting the original location, but the "new" location, north of Dayton, is awesome!
They always have a great selection on tap. They have approximately 8 taps, if my memory serves me. Usually one or two of the taps are brews that you can't find anywhere else. If you're looking for something else, they also keep a large selection of bottled micros and imports.
Every third Thursday, Boston's hosts a beer tasting, often with a rep from the brewery itself. The most recent tasting was Harpoon Brewery. Boston's has had Stone, Barrel House, and Great Lakes in the past, just to name a few.
Their newest addition to the menu is their pizza. Even though it's a bar, it is definitely some of the best pizza around. I highly recommend a brew and a pizza at Boston's Bistro.

I could tell that this was a great place, but unfortunately I was there less than a month before they were forced to close in their original location. The folks there were great, and the beer selection was still impressive. If the new location even comes close to its original, Boston's will remain a top notch beer bar.

One of Dayton's best beer bars. About ten good taps- last included Ayinger Celebrator and Cinci's Barrelhouse Nut Brown Ale...plus over 100 bottles in a rotation: from Aas to Xingu. Good, knowledgeable bartenders. Not sure what makes it a bistro, but a must stop when coming through Dayton.

Large, and excellent selection of beer on tap and bottled. Monthly beer tastings. They don't serve food here but you can order pizza from down the street and dine in. Nice cozy Cheers like atmosphere.
