I drove by this place today and noticed the name had changed to the Luna Cafe. They were still working on the remodel so I don't know if they are still a brewery.

They have a great Sushi Bar, plus the Korean Women seem to have the desire to frequent your home after a nice evening.
All in all, Koreans make beer and good Kim Chi.

I'm a semi-regular to this place, and have finally learned its tricks. Get there early to set up with a good spot, esp. for a large party. It's great for sports because they have a huge TV. Only certain things on the menu are that outstanding, so let me recommend the beer battered shrimp (served on skewers), the flank steak skewers (awesome, comes drenched in a slightly hot/sweet sauce), and garlic fries. Service can be sketchy, esp. with the food. Best thing is to order everything at once, because they might forget about you. Want the best part? After you're lubricated you can go about 5 blocks away to the Rosen Music Studio and keep eating and drinking most of the same stuff while singing karaoke in your own private room with large couches, etc. Call ahead to reserve the two rooms with more American music, but the other rooms suited us fine, too. Enjoy.

This brewery was slow at about 5:30 pm. Only 4 people inside when I got there. It is in the heart of Kore Town, Los Angeles. They have a Rosen Light, Sunset Red, Koreatown Ale, Hollywood dark and a California Wheat. The Dark was by far the best! The Pizza is GREAT!

They only have 5 beers and don't seem to have any rotation seasonals. Wheat, red, lite (low-cal), Ale, Stout.
The Korean Ale is very good, an almost perfect match for Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, no - I'm not joking.
The stout was aweful. Thickness was right, had a nice coffee start - but a really nasty ending flavor with all kinds of unpleasent tastes.
Wife and I had food... expensive bar food, very little authentic Korean food that I found. Maybe not that expensive for downtown LA. Bar very nice, the TV was great for a Laker's game!
Only hope I saw for food: Sushi looked good, as did the pizzas. Based on the three dishes we had, everything else overpriced and not that great.
Go for the ale, eat next door for the food :) (In Koreatown)

Very interesting Korean brewpub located in downtown LA. The five house beers ranged from light to dark - all very well made and flavorful. The Korean Ale was my favorite. The food selections ranged from simple pub fare through traditional Korean dishes. The service was fair to good (somewhat slow). The decor was interesting - unique and intriging. Valet parking available for a small fee. I highly recommend serious pubcrawlers to check this place out!
