Beer isn't anything spectacular, unless you have only Boise to compare it to- even then, it's just OK. Quality is fresh kegs, some on Nitro, and very fresh. Taste can be a bit level though. I find myself asking why I stopped in. Food- depends on the day/chef/cook. Can't say that I'm overly impressed with the food. A good place to stop, toss a few back, then order food when your taste has died a bit. Service is very hit and miss. Once in a great while I'll get spectacular service, mostly it is just average.

I ordered a filet well done and it came out mooing, the cook throws it back on the grill and it comes out on the same plate with the same (now cold) veg and it was as tough an old boot - very ordinaty. Beer was great.

Very friendly bartender and brew master. Excellent beers for an up-and-coming micro-brewery. Seven beers on tap with at least three more coming soon. Brew master is the old apprentice brew master at the brewery I have been going to for five years. I can't wait to taste his new beers.

I tried the IPA which was very good, the Octoberfest was good and the Porter was an excellent brew. The service was good and the wait people very friendly and informative. I would recommend this estabishment.
