Went there to see the band that was to be playing only to find out that they had cancelled them without notice. Tacky!! The poor band didn't even have a chance to notify their following that they would not be there.

Look out KC there is a new band in town! Stopped by on a Wednesday not expecting much and WOW! Walked in the door and the first thing I saw was a band playing Irish music. Ordered beers and thought we would stay for one drink and ended up staying for a couple of hours. The Lucky Charms were great. REAL Irish folk music and many of our favorite covers!!

Awesome, authentic Irish food, with plenty of favorites. They also have several of my favorite beers on tap. The atmosphere is great, and they often have great live music. Plus, I can visit Nebraska Furniture Mart and Cabela's when I go! A+

Flannigin's right hook is worth the trip on a fri. night. They play some crazy bluegrass and a whole lot of weird cover songs. Plus, there's no cover at the door.

Flanigan's Right Hook is awesome! The beers are expensive, but the music is worth it.

Very disappointing since new owners. Used to be our favorite place. Too noisy; even live music will chase you outside on hottest evenings. It's worth the drive to go to KCK.

Sadly, the previous review WAS true, prior to the new owners. There are now over 20 tv screens across the back of the bar, and around the walls. 4 screens are on above the stage with different programs on while an artist performs. It's a terrible place for listening to a musician. It is now a TV/Sports Bar. For the old ambiance, yet even upgraded, go to the new McBrides (by the former owners of McBrides south) located in Village West near Cabella's.

For being in the middle of suburbia, this is a great Irish pub. Every time I've been there they've had live Irish music. Usually a busy place, with good reason. Good selection of brews of course, good atmosphere, and the food is up to anyone's expectations.
