Too bad Beermann's closed at the end of 2005. Now that the gorgeous IOOF building is for sale, maybe some beer lover will buy it and re-open.
If I only had a couple million bucks; one to spend, and one to lose running a restaurant in a small town.

Great beer! They brew some great seasonal beers (Nitrogen-pulled Bitter, Rye MaiBock, Kolsch, Triple IPA) to go with their regulars. The lager is especially good. Food's good too. They have pub food downstairs and more expensive lodge dining upstairs

I just visited Beermann's yesterday while on travel to Sacramento. Lincoln is a bit out of the way, but I'm *very* glad I made the trip! This is truly a hidden treasure! The beers were all top notch and there were 9 of them on tap! From light to dark, all were good to excellent. The Lincoln Lager was an outstanding Helles lager and the brown ale and Industrial Stout were equally excellent. The Rip Roarin' Red was one of the most interesting reds I've ever had with stong malt *and* hop flavors that were perfectly balanced (like a dark, malty IPA). I see they've won quite a few awards and it's not surprising. Only had appetizers, but they were also very good and I'm sure the food is very good from looking around at other tables. Very relaxed and interesting interior, great place to just kick back and relax with some excellent beer. This is a *must* visit if you're in the Sacramento area!

Check out Beerman's restaurant in Lincoln .. the historic building is something to see. The pub and the restaurant upstairs serve their incredible beers and the food is terrific and very hearty. Try the Stout ... tasty!
