Fantastic pub with incredible home brewed beer. The beer is on par with some of the greats. The vintage ale is is has a hefty 10-11% of alcohol. It's somewhat like a Belgium Dubbel. I also tried the maibock which had a great body and subtle sweetness.

What a cool place to have a brewery in. I loved it. The guys there had a good history of the building and how it came to be, and the beer was excellent!

Very nice little brewpub right on the river. I finally got a chance to visit and I was glad I stopped. The place is hard to find and the inside looks a little beat up, but the homebrews are good (plus there is an excellent selection of other beers available). Definitely sit outside if you can in the summer. The service is excellent.

This is not an easy place to find. It is in the basement of an old Mill. You have to go all the way around to the back of the building, and make your way in along the creek walk. It is just a small place. I was impressed with their I.P.A. It is one of my favorite styles, so I have tried a lot of them around the country, and this one stands up with the best. I also love their Porter. I wish I could have had my glass of Porter with the piece of Cheesecake that I got on my way back home from the brewery. I think the Brewmaster here is doing a real fine job. I need to set up a visit, to go up and brew with him sometime.

Nice place in a rather interesting location. I had two of their beers (IPA & Pacific Coast Lager). The IPA was ok but could use more hops. The lager was very good. They also have a great selection of guest beers. I found the place to be an enjoyable stop for a few cold ones.

I enjoyed their own beers, their IPA in particular is great....can't wait for them to start bottling that one. Guest beers are okay but no regular beers as far as Miller or Pabst products go. I was told they can't get a license for hard liquor due to the city's "Laws". Too bad, not everyone in my group was a beer drinker and only had soda or water to choose from. The only food they offer is cheese, sausage & rolls. Would've been nice to have a bowl of popcorn or nuts to nibble on while we were sampling. Overall, great atmosphere, NO SMOKING which was wonderful!! The beer garden overlooks Cedar Creek. Beautiful setting. Well worth finding this hidden treasure!

A Hop and a jump across the Cedar Creek for me! love the $2.00 taps at happy hour...
One of the few establishments that is Smoke Free.. they do have outside sitting next to the creek...
The staff is overall great to talk with except this one young kid.. He has ALOT to learn.. case of the "brewer stupids"
they do have no food due to the limited size of the place, but serve free pretzels and have Cheese and Beef snacks available.
Weekends have free music, maybe not the greatest but atleast they play instruments!
With 16 beers on Tap, selection is always on the move.. http://www.silvercreekbrewing.com/pub/ontap.html

I was in on a Friday night. They had a lager and an IPA, of theirs. I only drank the IPA. I was not impressed. It was dark, almost porter dark. The beer was hoppy but had a smoky flavor to it. Thus it seemed to be a cross between an IPA and Porter. Their beer selection from other micros was great and pretty eclectic. I would recommend the place for those beers alone but be careful of their products.

Nice place. Like the last person discribed this place is hidden. It faces the Milwaukee River and has a wonderful view. They had one beer on tap, a lager. Decent but I would not go out of my way. I briefly met one of the owners and he says they have 4 more beers coming. My father who was with me said the place looked to still "looked to be getting it's feet under it". So don't expect perfect. They have a better amount of snacks this time, but they still don't really have food. The best part of this Brewery is their guest taps. A wide spectrum of micros including New Galarus Belgium, Dog Fish 60min IPA and many more.

This is a cozy little pub on the lower level of a large old Mill (there are several businesses in the Mill, so look closely for Silver Creek's sign). I'm sure it would be a fantastic place to visit in the summer--they have a nice outdoor seating area along the mill stream. On a recent visit, they had two of their own beers on tap. Their weizen was one of the finest versions of the style I've had at a brewpub in quite some time. They also had an "IPA," which really didn't taste at all like an IPA, since it was far too light on the hops. Despite not resembling the style, it was good beer--more of a dark, malty ale, though. I like their system of guest taps. It seems that they try to find a representative of as many beer styles as possible, means that just about anyone should be able to find something they like. They also have a few Belgian beers in bottles.

Nice selection of beer. They finally have their own beer, it is a "Budweiseresque" style beer. Pretty weak. The other small brewery beers they have are VERY good. As for food, they have cheese (not a great selection), rolls, and sausage. Overall a nice place. One more thing they don't allow smoking! Yeah!

Not brewing their own as of 6/24. 14 taps pouring world class beers can't be topped except by the riverside location and the old mill the brewery is housed in. 2$ pints during happy hour 5-7PM and 5$ pints and you keep the glass. Nice town, a bit trendy for my taste but nice. Winery also located 3 blocks away.
