I'm not so much of a beer drinker but the blond is my favorite, light and simple. The food is definitely awesome! LOTS to choose from, salads are great and you HAVE to try the acovado egg rolls!

Waitstaff and MOD were very attentive and sharp. Food was hot and really good. Salads were more substantial than usual. The beer sampler was a cool way to try a lot of different beers for short money and be sure you got something you'd be happy with. Great atmosphere and a lotta fun...definitely will be back!!!

I have returned a number of times, and I guess I am disappointed with their own beers. Their beers are OK, but each one is disappointing if you expect to taste the characteristics of that style. For instance, their IPA is good, but it is nowhere near hoppy enough to be called an IPA, The same with their other beers. I usually ALWAYS drink a brewpub's own beers when there, but when I go to BJ's, I make it a point to see what other beers they have on tap, as I will be disappointed with BJ's own offerings

Waiters/waitresses were extra nice. I ordered nachos and I thought there wasn't meat in it, and when he brought out my dish for me, I spotted beef throughout the plate. He took the order back and gave me a Pizookie on the house. I thought that was very nice of him considering I was the one who read the menu wrong and thought there was no meat in the dish.

Considering the local fair, BJ's has done some pretty nice work despite not being able to brew on site. Their 'Nutty Brewnette' is their American-style brown ale and is one that I found to have much more flavor and character than many I've tried around the country. I was disappointed with BJ's version of the Pale Ale (Piranha) since it lacked a good hop bite I was expecting, while their Irish-style ale (Jeremiah) seemed to be overly hopped for its' style. They could switch tap handles to remedy the issue but not likely to happen; both beers are still really nice. For those looking to venture toward the deep end, BJ's offers an imperial stout (Tatonka) with plenty of leg and enough 'umph' to get the would-be-Czars dancing on the tables. This beer has all the attributes afforded the style and is a great finisher to any visit. Overall, BJ's is a great place to meet with friends to catch the game or just unwind from the day’s toil while sampling the food and libations.

All seven house beers, contract brewed off-premises, were quite good. Stron Irish red ale was the best, Hefeweizen was true to Bavarian style. Imperial stout was robust.
