They have very few taps, but most of them are excellent beers. I've seen Bell's Two-Hearted ale, Barrelhouse Boss Cox Double Dark IPA, New Holland Pilgrim's Dole, and many other great beers on tap. They also have a great selection of bottled beers, including just about any style of beer you'd like. While the California-style burritos are good, I wouldn't say they are quite as excellent as other reviewers have claimed. Their salsas are great, but they have tons of garlic. Overall, this place is a real gem in Cincinnati.

A friend of mine took me here, he had been there before but I had not had the priviledge as of yet. It was on a Saturday afternoon so there wasn't a band yet. But I was overwhelmed with the selection of beer that was available. When I go into a bar and see NONE of the Corporate Watered Down Bigboys on tap, my tastebuds start to tingle. They only have 5 taps, but a good array. And a huge selection of bottled beer. They have a good selection of burritos that beat the heck out of anything Chipolte has to offer. The salsas are all homemade and fresh. They have 3 everyday varities, and 1 monthly variety (pineapple when I was there). All of them very tasty and full of flavor.
I would highly recommend this place. Very obscure hole in the wall type of bar, but a great hole to fall into when in the area.

Don't forget to show up and hang out with the scooter kids on Wednesday nights. Really, you'll see hordes of vintage and new Vespas, Lambrettas, and the like parked out front. And the first Wednesday of every month is Karaoke night.
Highly recommended: order the Chili Con Queso and a Guinness on tap.

The Comet has just added another faucet and plans to put in multi-tap by this summer. The new faucet was Two-Hearted Ale from Bells. Now that is a great IPA.

If you like a place that is off the beaten path and not part of a chain, then this is your place. The Comet has a great beer selection both microbrews and imports. The jukebox, indeed, has quite a strange, but great selection. The burritos are huge! We had a blast and highly recommend this place!!

This is one of the original places in Cincinnati to serve a diverse selection of beer. The owner, Dave Cunningham, is one of the coolest guys to talk to and caters incredibly well to the most ecclectic beer audiences in the city.
My advice is to grab a burrito with the salsa of the month, look through the carefully picked selection in one of the beer coolers, and check out the jukebox and probably scratch your head at whats on it. The Comet usually receive the Readers Choice award for Best Jukebox in the city. This is the hippest good-beer bar on Earth.
