I would just like to comment that I am a 20-something and I love going to Taco Mac. I do not feel as though this bar is centered around people my age. I have gone to this bar/restaurant so many times and rarely do I see it full of people my own age. I see families and older people there. I love it and I will go back every week as I do now becuase the service is excellent!

There are many Taco Mac beer bars throughout the Atlanta area. They all have a terrific beer selection, both draught beers and bottled beers. I have always come away from these places with a positive feeling. However, this one needs help. I have been there quite a few times and each time I wonder why I went back. The service is lacking in true customer caring. The young waiter was very unfamiliar with the beers on the menu. Had to come back twice to ask me again what I had ordered (Dinkel Acker Dark - great beer, by the way). The atmosphere is noisy. It is hard to carry on a conversation due to the noise. Bad soundproofing, too large a room, I don't know what it is at this place. This area needs good places to go to eat and have a good beer. As I said the beer is great, but not sure it's worth the several hours spent here. Seems like this place just wants to cater to the 20-30 year old set.
