The most unassuming establishment I have ever been to. With a wide variety of live music every night, The Barking Spider attracts a diverse, but very laid-back crowd. Not too many beers on tap, but the bottled selection makes up for it. Its best to come on a warm evening as there is plenty of outdoor seating.
Geographically, the Barking Spider Tavern is located about fifteen minutes east of downtown Cleveland (a little past East 105th) off of Euclid Avenue. At the Euclid Avenue and Mayfield Rd. intersection, take a left (north) on Ford (immediately across from Mayfield.) Go up three streets and take a right (east) on Juniper Rd. On the right-hand side of the street you'll see an Arabica coffee house. Entrance to the Spider is the first driveway past the Arabica driveway, and additional parking is available from the second driveway.
