Brixx Ice is a newer establishment in the City of Dayton. It is a tavern, with a main level that seats about 100 with a few television sets, jukebox, etc. It also has an outdoor patio, open in the warmer months.
Beer selection is ok at this place, but it could stand to be improved. Food is pretty good. Prices are a little higher than average, and they can really add up quickly. Don't be surprised when you get your bill- it could be higher than you expect.
Probably the best aspect of this establishment is the fact that it is located diagonally from the Dayton Dragons Baseball team ballpark. Several of the inside seats face outward, next to the glass, so that fans can watch the game. The front of the building, in fact, is all glass for viewing the baseball games.
Overall, Brixx is a fun place- the first tavern/restaurant located within an arms throw of the ballpark. I hope that more will come later.

My wife and I hit Brixx during happy hour on 2/2. The service was real good (maybe because they were not real busy,) they had a respectable list of draft beers, and several more in bottles. The bartender suggested beers that I might like, and did a pretty good job.
Wings are 25 cents during happy hour, and I was happy. My vegetarian wife liked the veggie penne.
Atmosphere was nice, even in winter. It would probably be a real nice place for a Dayton Dragons experience. The stadium is across the street.
