Closed. And good riddance. Just read the reviews below to get an idea why. I guess the five drunk regulars didn't spend enough to keep the doors open.

had the exact opposite experience of the reviewer below. I found the food to be sub-par, even if greasy pub food is your thing, you will probably be disappointed if you know any better. My husband and I were totally fooled by the parking lot- which was filled with corvettes, saabs, bmws, mercedes, you name it. That just goes to show that just because you are rich does NOT mean you have any class (or taste for that matter!). Again, the food wasnt fresh or prepared carefully... it's waaay overpriced, as are the drinks (although they do have a decent beer selection it is hardly worth it). The waitresses, from what I saw and experienced, are frazzled and not sincerely friendly. They probably hate their jobs though. The place was packed which amazed me. All of the people did come across as being pseudo pretentious snobs. On the whole, the clientele did not appeal to me. In fact, on our way to our car we had quite a surprise as we saw a couple having intercourse in the front seat of their expensive SUV. Did I mention NO CLASS!?! I would never step foot in that restaurant The Old Dublin Inn again. Looks are deceiving in this case, but you live and learn. Just dont make the same mistake we did. The entertainment is horrible too. Trust me... not worth your penny or your time.

What f%$#@! happy hour? Twice now I've been gigged for $4 a pint during "happy hour." Oh well. Kiss your tip goodbye. I guess you have to be a "regular" to get the happy hour prices.

We went there to eat and my food was swimming in oil; my husband's and my father's fish and chips was still cold; and my mother's shepherd's pie had so much curry (yes, curry) in it she could barely eat it. They ordered irish coffees at the end of the meal and you could see through the glass the coffee was so weak. We've been there a number of times and while the dining rooms are unique- the sewer stench and constant changes in the chef leave little to be desired. We can get good beer at the local beverage center.

My wife and I met some of her friends here for dinner, for the 4 of us the bill came to just under 80 bucks, which for all the beer we drank and the food we ate was very well priced.
My only lament is that there are no new beers there for me to try, I've drunk their entire current selection.

The Old Dublin Inn is one of the finest establishments I've ever been too. The wide selection of beer is out of this world, to go with an extremely affordable price. Every day happy hours offers great deals for $3 pints on any beer you desire. The food is great, and they make sure that you are filled up after you're done. A flat screen t.v. offers great picture to watch sporting events on. Friday and Saturday nights there is live music, from very talented local musicans. I love the Old Dublin Inn, and encourage everyone to come check it out, chances are you will probably see me there.

Recently relocated back to the area, and one of the key reasons that I bought my house, is that it's in walking distanct to the ODI. Great Beer selection, Live music nightly, 2 for 1 happy hour. Great Pub!!

Have a vast variety of different types of beer to try and enjoy. I believe that they have over 32 different beers on tap, and not just the usuals that we expect great places to have. Their very cozy irish setting inside makes it very easy to sit back and enjoy the different types of beer. One of the only places still to do a 2 for 1 happy hour. A great addition that they made this year was the large deck outside which creates a great atmosphere for summer happy hours and a reason for a few local offices to close early and enjoy. Their food quality is outstanding and has a menu any beer drinker can enjoy.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive for my taste (and wallet). Four beers, a bowl of soup and glass of wine for other half was $42. Nope. Not here, not anywhere. Now I remember why I only stop once a year.
With that said, they have one of the better beer selections in the Capital District. 29 taps, and all top shelf. Smithwick’s, Belhaven, Victory Hop Devil, Magic Hat Jinx, John Courage, UBU, Arrogant Bastard, Old Speckled Hen, Southern Tier IPA, Flying Dog Pale Ale, Paulaner, two Olde Saratoga’s, and Lindemans, to name a few. The atmosphere is great, and with Frank playing on Wednesday night makes it even better. Mike the barman assures me the lines are cleaned at least twice a month, and it is evident in the quality of the beers poured.
The food prices are also way, way, way out of line. In case you’ve been asleep for the past 10 years or more, the economy in upstate NY is in the toilet. These prices would even be out of line in “The City.” $8.95 for “F. T. McCracken’s” wings? And you only get eight? As in two less than ten and four less than a dozen?? Burgers are $7.95 and you have to pay .75 for each extra topping?? The chili was $4.95 a cup and $6.95 a bowl, and it can’t hold a candle to the chili at Malt River. I looked around the restaurant (I had sat in the bar area), and it was essentially empty. Get used to it. These prices will not be supported in this area. Other than that, it’s a nice place.
