BJ's is a great place! We try to get there for happy hour to get cheap pizza to help wash down the beer. The brown ale and stout are our favorites but make sure to hit the sampler if you're not accustomed to their selections. I didn't know St. A's did their brewing for them - I'm a big fan of their brown and amber ales so kudos to BJ's for picking a good local brewery for their product.

They push their drinks while forgetting to submit your order. Also they do not refill your water or tea without asking them. Arrogant waiters and waitresses.
Service spoils the evening

We stopped for a late Sunday afternoon meal at BJ’s this weekend. Our service was good and each of our group of four seemed pleased with our food, which ranged from calzones, to a large dinner salad, to chicken fried steak. On this visit, BJ’s loses a few points for beer selection because they were out of three of their standard house brews – the hefeweizen, the brown ale and the porter. This left the blonde, red and pale ales, the stout and a brewmaster’s special pilsner available. I understand that this in not a brewing location and that availability is subject to the production and distribution schedule of those that supply the beer, but three empty taps deserves some criticism. However, a couple of extra points are awarded for the quality guest taps, which included Saint Arnold Amber, Celis White, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Sierra Nevada IPA, Paulaner, and a cider. Unless you are near the bar or ask your server though, you may not know what comprises the guest taps. There is also a menu page listing a good range of available Belgian brews by the bottle. I had BJ’s strong red ale and the pale ale and found both to be well done.

We went here on Valentines day. According to the bartender, BJ's beers are contract-brewed by St. Arnolds. They do not brew on-premises. Of course the quality was first rate, especially the Porter.
