Like the last writer, it is a dive. It's smokey, dim and dingy but it a Milwaukee landmark. We were there and they card everyone. I'm later 20's and enjoyed that. Seems the MPD started to go crazy with carding. They've even gone after bars where people are legal but they didn't have their ID's with them. The bar itself is big and we had a lot of fun. The beer selection was okay, not all were my favs but kept me interested. There are frat guys around and even with my guy, they try to get a little to touchy feely. The bouncers are there and willing to help. A nitch place, fun, and will continue to stop when in town.

I love all the bad reviews from the underagers who got their fake IDs taken. But here's the real truth to this place: It's either hit or miss with everyone. I personally enjoy this bar because it's big and has a little something for everyone: Pool, darts, foosball, air-hockey, arcade and pinball games and even bumper pool. Yes,it is a 'dive' but it's a dive I can go to and have a good conversation because crappy music isn't blaring so loud that you have to shout to be heard. There's also a lack of frat boys and chotches which is nice. If I wanted to go to a loud, chotch-infested bar where I have to wait forever for an over-priced, watered down drink from a jerk bartender I would head down to Water Street. Some folks that posted seem to be the type to fit in at a place like 'Have A Nice Day.' If you're not one of those people, I suggest you check out the Landmark just for kicks. Who knows...you may enjoy yourself.

Im only 19 and only visited it once, however the experience can only be summed up as So-So. The bowling was nice but the establishment was a dump. The bartender and the guy at the bowling desk were oblivious to the world around them, and to get their attention was a difficult process. The bouncer is an a punk, he only has one arm but is still a jerk. The bowling was average, the pin setters kept knocking down pins before i'd bowl. To conclude, if you like scoring your own game, try Highland Lanes on Viliet, or something else. The arcades are quite good at landmark however

I have only been to this bar twice, but I will not go back. The first time I had a decent time but wasn't crazy about the atmosphere or how dingy it was. I went there again tonight to meet some friends for a drink and had MY ID taken away. The bouncer was a complete A** and did not ask me for additional ID to prove that I am who I say I am. He also would not let me go home to get additional ID in order to get my ID back. I have to now go back there tomorrow to speak with the bar manager to try to get my ID back! I will never go back to this bar - I am terribly dissappointed and wonder, like was alread posted by someone else, that if this bar has been busted for underagers and have to be a**es at the door.

I cant' tell you how many time's I've seen the lights come on at bartime. I know about 10 people that have chuffed in this place. It's got everything you need. Three bars, one of which has the worst bartender in the city gainfully employed for years. Also contains: bowling alley, arcade, bathrooms, and a wide range of freaks, punks, junkies, ghetto people, students, 30 year olders, and snack machines. Order the drink called the "Stumplifter" or "Stumppuller" and drink it yourself. You'll chuff too - I guarantee!

Melina, quit your whining and go to California if you want goat cheese pizza and Zinfandel. This is what the Landmark is supposed to be like. It's been like that since the 50's. It has gone a little down hill in the past years, but still is a Milwaukee Landmark. Tues. night import night is the one that started it all! And where else can you find video games anymore? Great classics there too. If anyone sees Melina there, pour your beer on her, spit your chew in her hair, blow smoke at her, and tell her to get the fck out and go home! :) Just kidding Melina, I like ya! You single???

Disgusting atmosphere, smoke-filled, poorly-ventilated, the crowd is rude and trashy...mostly underage kids. Dirty! If you don't mind hanging out with undereducated, trashy, ugly people...go for it!
