thought I walked into just another great beer bar, but the menu really surprised me. I had the starr hill amber ale and it was delish.

4 starr hill brewery taps. 5 other good taps. gourmet food and it's great.

In Charlottesville's Downtown Mall. 8 good taps and 10-12 in the bottled beers selection. A good cross section of micros and imports. Starr Hill and Bear Republic products my favorites on tap. Spartan interior. Bar manager very enthusiastic about beer, getting the best and most varied selection available. Menu looked good--seafood specials.
