Food is a little pricey but well worth it. There is always interesting (and great tasting)food on a menu that changes monthly. Beer selection is amazing, the service is great, and the atmosphere makes you completely forget you are in a train station. Come here a couple of times when you're passing through and you may find yourself planning on missing your train. A great taste to try out new beers. This is my favorite bar in the city.

Not your typical train station bar. Very pleasant place and nice atmosphere. Converts concourse into place you want to visit. Have eaten lunch there several times. Beer on draft changes but is always a nice selection. Good list of bottles in including Young's Double Chocolate Stout!!!

Just heard about this place four days ago, and there I was in 30th Street Station, running for my train back to the 'burbs, when I thought...hey, Lew, there's ALWAYS time for a beer. So I slipped into this nifty little bistro, right off the main concourse on the 30th Street side of this gorgeous old railroad station, sat down and ordered a Golden Monkey. Yeah, that's right: Golden Monkey, Young's Special, Stoudt's Pils, Flying Fish Dubbel, and some really good spirits, too. The service was quick but personable, and the food, WOW. Very nice seafood, surprising vegetarian items, NOT what you'd expect in a train station bar. This one's a keeper, folks: definitely recommended.
