A small place, very much the neighborhood bar in appearance. There is a small dining area in back, diagonal to the bar proper. The selection was quite good, including drafts of brews from the Nodding Head Saloon (and my favorite, the Nodding Head Grog). The service was outstanding; the bartender was very informative, helpful, and personable. I had the chicken-apple sausage sandwich, which was good (not exceptionable). All in all, a very enjoyable experience. I'll be back.

Restored neighborhood bar, owned by the owners of Monk's Cafe. Food is supposed to be simple but good; I just went for a beer. Beer they had: about ten good taps (I got a Sierra Nevada IPA) and a classic old Bevador cooler with a really interesting bottle assortment, including some very high-end lambics. Loved the tin wall/tin ceiling decor, pretty cool place overall. Service got a downcheck because the bartender argued with me over my beer choice. What? Leave me alone, you madman.
