My first visit. They had 5 or 6 beers on tap. I tried the ESB and Porter. Neither one had much character or body and they both had a slight metalic taste. However, the beef and sausage spagettineti was great. Service at the bar was fine. Seems to be a good restaurant that doesn't invest much effort in their brewing.

Only three beers on tap, all were pretty bad, no flavor at all. One person in my party dumped his in the flowers, (hope they don't die). The place reminds me of fast food, order at the counter, find a table and sit down. I did hear someont say the food was good but don't stop for the beer.

To say the least, this place is different. The beer selection isn't too deep with only five housebrews on tap(one of which was out) but they do have a full bar.I had a pint each of the pale ale, ESB, and porter. All were good but the ESB stood out. What really makes this place unique is the way they run the restaurant. You walk in, grab a menu, and find a table. When you are ready to order, you go up to the counter and tell them what you want. When it's ready, they call your number and you go pick it up. It's amazing how much time you seem to save by eliminating a waitperson. And you save a couple bucks in tip money. The menu is fairly diverse and nothing was over $13!The down side is that it can get fairly hectic when the families start showing up but I've yet to see a fist fight break out over a free table.Thursday nights they have a DJ and dancing upstairs. Sunday evening they have stand-up comedy. If you are ever in beautful downtown Campbell, it's worth a visit. And they have a Chicken Coop in San Pedro Square, downtown San Jose.
