man, curb ur enthusiasm...at least offer the redesign for beer!! dive bar. but there is nothing wrong with dive bars, especially this one.....very good selection of micros, most regional as in deschutes, and rogue (of course they are going for that "pirate" theme. and the place is full of pirate wannabes...some might say freaks, or ecletic mix, but young, old, students, professionals all seem to mingle making for enjoyable time. didnt have anything to eat...but most were there for food. not worth a special trip as the beers are also carried at ha'penny and others, but if in the area, then a must stop and stay. service was sporatic, seemed attentive when i didnt need a brew and had to wait for someone to come back from smoke break when i was ready...but all the waitstaff real interesting people...

Great little place and not really the "college pub" that some people call it. My ONLY constructive criticisms are: (1) their website needs to be drastically overhauled. I would suggest photos of the exterior building and interior decorations (especially the lady pirate (oxymoron alert!) mannequin). Also photos of the menu items would look great on their website. (2) Their printed menus need to be more detailed to include ALL of the ingredients. I have eaten there four times and had "surprises" three of those times. The food was terrific, but ... there is no mention of the quesadillas containing jalapenos! or that the excellent steak wrap has olives ... or that the huge burgers have pickles (which both my guest and I HATE). I have many years of business experience and website designing and I truly believe this would benefit their customer flow. Heck, I'd re-design their website for FREE!

Definately a "College" Bar. But I'm 51 and my Mom is 85 and this is STILL our favorite "drop in for a beer" bar. The Fish & Chips are top quality, The Clam Chowder is Fantastic, and the Salads are top Fresh & Delicious. If you're more impressed by the food on the plate than the plate it's served on YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE!!
