While some might consider the beer on tap to be a limited selection, the overall beer selection in quite expansive, and we were shocked to find some of imported favorites available.

The food can't be beat. If your looking for lighter fare stick to the salads, but add a crab cake or salmon, grilled to perfection, I might add. The sandwhich selection if huge and affordable or go all out on the entrees, just make sure you pack up half of them to save room for dessert. Krispy Kreme bread pudding...are you kidding me, served with Maggie Moo's ice cream. Count them, two favorites in one.

The service and atmosphere is just what my thirty something husband and I were looking for on a saturday night...attentive, quiet and laid back.

We didn't see any of the bud drinking college boys or we would have been out of there!

we were ther on friday afternoon with the food network on the TV's and a CD that was like a funeral chant. i thought tne candles and accessories were terribly insulting to people of faith. a good, cute idea carried too far!!! pass on this place till they mature!

This place makes all of Canton be ashamed!!! A real bar where the owner doesn't have an ego bigger than the square. Friendly awesome service!!! This one is worth the prayers.

Ale Mary's has great beer (although, as a previous submitter mentioned, the selection could be a little more expansive). The wings are incredible--circulate between this place and Kisling's up the street, and you will taste some of the best wings in Baltimore.

Either I misread the previous reviews ... or just came in on the wrong night, Ale Mary's, while having a decent selection, comes off as a crowded college bar crammed with drunken Bud drinkers trying to pick up women, when the latter's faces aren't stuck to a cell phone. Not a place I could honestly recommend to anyone seeking a place to relax and quaff a few ales - at least not if you're over 30 years old. (And especially if you have little time in Fells Point) Think of $1.00 Blatz night at the student union and ... well. Enjoy yourself and go to Wharf Rat, Max's or DuClaw's.

Actually, the previous review was apparently stuck in the queue for months. The place has food up and cooking, very good food for a place this size (get the Reuben Dip if you're hungry). Hard-core beer geeks may want a bigger beer selection, but there's nothing shabby about any of the bottles or six taps on hand. Big, open-window sidewalk-cafe-like experience in summer, cozy and intimate in winter. Service extremely friendly and sociable.

Newly opened in an old location. Has an excellent collection of micros in bottle and on draft. Mostly Belgians in bottles. Drafts include Brewer's Art Resurrection, Troegs, a contract brew from Old Dominion, and Guinness. Food not open yet. Comfortable, dark wood, and excellent owners.
