The Dry Dock was successfully moved on Sunday June 21st. With the help of over 100 patrons, family members, and beer connoisseurs, both The Brew Hut and Dry Dock were moved two doors down in 63 minutes flat!
Both businesses are open for business and are enjoying their new digs!

To correct the prior post: thankfully, The Dry Dock is not closed. They've outgrown their space and are moving to a larger space on the same site, just slightly east of the old one. For details, check out their website:

This place is closed. I drove by and the building is empty. The Dry Dock name is still marked on the front of the building, but the place has been gutted.

This was my first time here. I liked the brewry supply store next door. They will be moving a couple of buildings down by the end of summer as they are expanding. The beer was great. I will definitely go back

I take people on brewpub and brewery tours - here in Colorado and in the UK and I know quality and I look for great beers - OK - I do admit that I also love hops - and a relaxed atmosphere.. Dry Dock is comparatively new and has aimed high - and reached a pinicle very quickly with lots of hops as needed, brewing medals and a true pub atmosphere. It won't be just Avery, Bristol and Great Divide mentioned when talking of big beers. Dry Dock must now be included in the big beer league and will keep the others on their tippy toes.duking it out, for the biggest best beers. I pop in regularly just to make sure they use enough hops. They do - Isn't Colorado just great with yet another exceptional brewery?

This was my first visit to Drydock, and I have to give them high marks across the board. First, their selection was pretty amazing, given their relatively small brewing capacity (7 bbl.). Their sampler tray featured around a dozen beers; fortunately they were a reasonable 2 oz. size. Among their offerings were Winter Wheat, a fine ESB, a Rye beer, Poor Richards' (colonial) Ale, a robust stout, a vanilla porter (the vanilla really comes through well), an English mild, a standard IPA, a superb Imperial IPA, and a Braggot. Second, the quality was high as well. While you may not prefer every variety, all were correct for style, and it's impossible not to find something you like. Third, the server was very attentive, friendly, and happy to talk about the various brews. There's also a full bookcase featuring volumes on ships and brewing, an unusual but interesting combination. I got to chat briefly with the owner as well. Judging from the number of folks taking out growlers on a Tuesday afternoon, Dockyard has a very dedicated following. When customers can actually talk with the owner while sampling the beer, that to me is the epitome of the small brewery that hasn't forgotten why they're there.

Located in a nondescript building in a nondescript strip mall, Dry Dock was anything but nondescript. The beer was outstanding, with at least ten styles available. The owner and staff, even the other customers, were very friendly and gave me great advice for further beer travels in the Denver area. A very worthwhile stop, but don't go hungry as Dry Dock does not serve food (at least at the time of my visit).

Beer was great -- I especially liked the IPA. The bartender/brewer was personable and very knowledgeable about beer and other breweries. A no-frills place hidden in the back of a strip mall (that seems to be dying), and the interior doesn't have much atmosphere, but I'll definitely be going back. The main drawback is that it's PRICEY. $4 pints in the dead of the afternoon, and $10 growler REFILLS. That's more expensive than you'll find at most other microbreweries.
