A pleasant dining experience in Dormont! Get much for the buck--- and the variety is outstanding. Try the veg burrito for a unique experience packing a pound of grilled veggies, beans, rice- the best! The atmosphere was friendly- patrons were happy. Felt good to be there! The guacamole and the fajitas were also a favorite at our table! A casual place to go> for families or casual scene alike.

I'm so happy that we have this place in the South Hills. My friends and I are vegetarians and it's hard to find a place with anything more than vegetable soup!!!!
MexiCasa has these huge baritos that they fill with things like Grilled Vegetables, Tofu, Rice, Beans, Portobellos, Salsa, Guacamole and other stuff.
Very cool place and 2 thumbs up for NO Smoking...

We live in Mt. Lebanon and drive by this place all the time. So this week we finally stopped in and what a suprise!
The atmosphere was not what you might think would be found in Dirtmont. The food was unbeleivable. We loved the cheese dip and the wings were the best I have ever had.
This place should be in the Southside somewhere!
The Casa is now a once a week stop for us...

My husband and I used to get take-out from Mexi-Casa when we lived in Dormont about 3 years ago. The restuarant had just opened (when it was still cash only) and we LOVED the food! Anyway, My son & I were in the area and I was really excited to stop in again so I coaxed him into it (he's 3). However, I was extremely disappointed. The food was terrible, it was cold and skimpy and was not worth what we paid for it. I ended up having to go home and cook anyway because we couldn't even eat it. It was that bad. I was extremely disappointed and will never go back there again.

Hidden gem we almost passed by - yet again.
Mexi-Casa sits along the busy 45MPH Route 19 stretch leaving Dormont and Pittsburgh towards Mount Lebanon. Easy to miss. 6 parking spaces in the back of the building make this place meter extortion free.
Dual personality space - one side a bar and the other the restaurant. Two TVs in the restaurant played the NCAA finals. Music mixed from the two spaces - Johnny Cash covers and Madonna. Somewhat normal, yet exceptional and eclectic.
Southwest Tex-Mexican food and interior. Quite nice on both parts. Food is exceptional - best Tex-Mex in Pittsburgh. Large portions include their soon-to-be-famous 1 pound burritos. Try their dip sampler (guacamole, salsa and their cheese dip). They have dozens of different mexican sauces to add to your food.
Beer wise - 40 beers roughly - emphasis on Mexican beers. Mass production beers amply represented in the mix along with Sierra Nevada and Penn Pilsner.
