Just heard this week that this place is closed. Too bad. We really enjoyed it...

2008.. Brannigans in Castle Rock is being managed at the moment by the Lauesen family. Since they have darkened the door of that restuarant they have gone through numerous employees and have not paid them wages due. Something funny going on over there. The original owner is having some difficulty and somehow these Illinoids are trying to take over and have been operating under the someone elses liquor license. Something fraudulent especially in the way they are bullying the employees and accusing everybody of theft. They also will charge you twice if you aren't on your toes. Be warned. Food isn't that good either....and expensive!

What a turn around! The new owners are doing a great job and have turned this into a fun place to bring the kids to. The food continues to be great. Kudos to the new owners!

We went for the first time Saturday during the storm. Atmosphere was just great. Reminded us of pubs in Ireland. The food was wonderful, Fish & Chips and the Steak Pie were great. They have a nice selection of Irish whiskeys. Our server was awesome and very attentive. Nice to have a new addition to Castle Rock.

Third time was not a charm...
What I thought was a kid friendly pub was, in fact, the opposite this time. The bartender caused one of my 8 year olds to cry and we ended up leaving early because of the "mean" factor.
I recommend that families with children avoid this place.

I was there on a dreaded first date and Branningan's made the whole date worth it! I loved the Strongbow Cider with Chambord, refreshing with a kick! Great Irish Pub for this Irish lass.

Brannigan's just opened in the last month. The Bangers and Mash were excellent and so were the Fish and Chips. Drank Smithwicks off the tap, my wife had Strongbow Cider. This place has an incredible atmosphere. Good Irish and English beer selection. The only negative was that I love Murphy's Stout and they only had Guinness on tap, oh well, none of us are perfect. They were kid friendly and the children's menu was good.
