My wife and I just happened to be in town for a wedding, so of course I had to find a local brew pub to try. The food is absolutely amazing. This will seem cheesy, but the hamburger meat is the best I have ever had.
As for the beer, I sampled the Pale Ale, IPA, Honey Lager, and Stout. -Pale Ale: Aroma is very citrusy and stands out. Flavor is pretty typical for a west coat style APA. Nice dry finish.
-IPA: Excellent flavor but the aroma is not what I expected from an IPA. Could use more hop aroma. Otherwise a nice version of the style.
-The Honey Lager is a beer for the Miller Lite bunch, but far superiour. Nice aroma and mouthfeel. Very drinkable session beer.
-Stout: Nice roast aroma stands out in this beer. The malt is very pronounced. Again, a solid beer for the style.
The only beer I wanted to try but could not is the Red. It is their best seller, and they were out. The staff is awesome and the facilities are amazing. Definitely a place to consider if you want to hold a corporate party or reception. The general manager took about 30 minutes to show us around. The brewer was gone this day, but the GM allowed us to check out the brewery, which had a tank of red ale fermenting away as well as their Hefe. Very recommended.
