This place was featured this week on Food Network's "Secret Life of ...(Pubs) as having an unbelievable happy hor. No mention of the beers, but maybe they have 100 on tap. Looks like a destination next time I'm there.

We went to the Sunset on Thursday the 15, 2007. Happy hour time. Take the "T" green B line to Harvard Av, walk 2 blocks north. This is the best beer bar I've been to and that includes the Brickskeller in DC and Toronado in San Fran. The bar tender was friendly and knowledgeable and attentive. We had a preset flight of strong IPA's with The Tap's Double Lips (9.5), Paraat (10.5), Two Brothers Hop Juice (9.9) and Southern Tier Unearthly (11.0). Followed by a Boulder Hazard (4.8), Cisco Whale Tail (6.8), North Coast Red Seal (5.6) and Founders Century (7.2). BTW that was my wife and I sharing 5 oz glasses. The place is large the food looked good and people seemed to enjoy it. I would make it a must do stop if ever in Boston.

Waitstaff really knows about beer, They are very friendly and helpful with selection You name it they probably have it. 112 selections on tap and hundreds more in bottles.

The worst thing about this place is trying to decide what to drink and eat. Being somewhat of a hophead, I went for the IPA flight. Thought the Dogfish 90 minute IPA was the best, but they were all great. A pint of Sierra Harvest was outstanding as well.
We couldn't decide on what to get so settled for appetizers, figuring we'd order two and go from there. But the Spinach/Artichoke dip was a massive plate of chips, cheese and dip, and the wings were great (sub-atomic), we couldn't eat another thing. Only two blocks from the Harvard Ave T stop on the Green line, don't miss it!

This place is not to be missed. I make it a point to stop by when I'm in Boston. They have over 100 taps and 450 bottles of beer. The bartenders, although sometimes cocky, know there stuff.

Went there on a Friday night with my girlfriend and didn't have to wait for a table. Great college atmosphere, the beer selection is beyond comparison. If you're looking for food they have a decent menu for reasonable prices.... to go along with several beers of course!!

Listen! This place is great..food, beer...but hold the press. The owner Marc, has been arrested for stealing (he robbed from his own employees..hired known crack addicts to steal from employees that were working..), also now we find out his mangagers were stealing from him. Wow! Po, double down buddy!

It's okay for the average college kid. Food is unexceptional, but hearty servings. Beer selection appears to be fantastic, but to the international beer conoisseur in particular, the brewery selections are frustratingly poor. Watch out for the service here, it can be disappointing enough to make a fun night go sour.

It is about three blocks off the Boston College "T" at Brighton. To me, this is the best place in Boston. It has over 100 taps which is amazing by itself. The more incredible thing is the quality of the beers. I chose the Dogfish Head Hommel, Heavyweight Cinder Bock and the Brooklyn Black Chocolate. What a selection! The food was good. I had a turkey burger and it was nicely spicy. This was my first time to Sunset and it will not be my last.

I moved to California and brought my girl back to visit Boston. She loved the Sunset Grill and Tap. I have not had a good burger in five years of living Cali. The trip back to the Sunset was a treat. There burgers are cooked to perfection. Try the Magic Hat "Side Chair".
