Henry's End is one of the better restaurants in Brooklyn and NYC. Known for serving Game during the Fall and Winter, Henry's End also has great Southern Fried Chicken, an amazing array of veal dishes, superb seafood, an array of Duck dishes and luxurious desserts.
Known for an extensive and reasonably priced wine list, many of which are available by the glass, they were an early adopter of a Belgian Beer marketing program in the late 80's or early 90's. They now have an array of beers to choose from; beers that can be as well matched to the food as the wines can. The wait staff or manager/owners will be happy to make suggestions.
BTW, I've been eating here for over a quarter century.

Henry's End is just down the street from Henry St Ale House and I confused the two at first. Henry's End however is a restaurant without a bar per se. The food is quite good with a nice wild game section and entrees prices running from $15 to $25. The beer selection is very nice, not extensive in quantity but there are some nice choices not commonly seen (Berliner Kindl Weisse for example) and there seems to have been a conscious choice to include a few examples from a lot of different styles.
