Artie's is in an undistinguished strip mall--used to be a Fritzbie's, so inside it's quite a surprise to find an open, airy, ferny, woody restaurant with great service. It's where we go for the "buddy lunch" with a new employee, or when one of our staff is leaving the company. Menu has lots of seafood/fish options, and the bread basket is excellent. Wait staff is enthusiastic and competent. Portions are huge. Chain is run by the same company that owns Sweetwater Tavern and Mike's American.
