Decent beer selection, and nice array of dartboards/tvs/pool tables. But there are a lot of drawbacks: it's overpriced, the service is a bit snobbish, the food portions are disappointing (smallest wings in DC!), and the crowd is pure yuppie.

I think Carpool is a very cute place! Its a nice place to hang out with friends and meet new people, and I like the whole car idea. The small parking lot is the worst part of the adventure. The best bet is to Metro then you can get tanked and you won't care about the service or the food, or you can always "CARPOOL"!

I used to go to Carpool two to three nights a week. Best place in Northern Virginia to watch Sunday football. They have almost enough tvs to show everyones game twice in different area of the bar. Weekends are crowded... Tuesday and Wednesdays tend to be slower.

Beer selection is above average. Food is awesome - best BBQ in these parts. The place can get pretty crowded on weekend nights, but not as ridiculous as it once was. Happy hours are fun, especially when the weather's nice and the big front doors are open. Service can be iffy depending on who's working.

Do you like to play pool? Well, you do don't go here. By the time the wanna-bes relized they aren't Tom Cruise in Color of Money, the chalk has run out and the eight ball is now Chip's souvenir to show the boys back home that he played in a big city pool hall.

This place has some pretty hot waiters! Other than that, everything is what you'd expect in a bar/billiards place.

A good general place to hang out, have a good beer, and play pool. Gets very crowded after work and on weekends, plus parking is very poor. Very diverse beer selection of micros and imports, among other common beers. The food is very typical but tasty, as far as bar food goes. It also houses an excellent Bar-B-Que restaurant.
