In 2001 we had the lump crab piled up with cooked spinach. It was expensive but worth every cent. Awesome! However, we returned a year later, April 2002, and both the presentation and portion of crab meat were different and not up to the standard we had come to expect. Perhaps someone new in the kitchen. We will try again this month but it will have to improve over last year for us to go back again.

Fell's Point is great - I live here - but it's hard to find a place that has good food from a clean kitchen with a view of the Square. Fell's Point ground zero. And that's the Point, and maybe it has something to do with Swiss managers, and a good chef. The beer is standard fare. I'd go there for the opening beverage, as a meeting place, then go out to a few other places with better selection. Good salad and quesadillas though. I hear that the Admiral Fell Inn, which runs the Point, is opening a new high end bar by 8/1/98, or earlier, and that holds some potential. So the grade? Great location, great food, good kitchen and chef, and a bottle of beer. 7 on a beer scale of 10, 8.5 for a a mid-week bottle of beer and some food.
