My fiance and I actually live a few blocks from Fado. We hang out there almost every weekend. The staff is great and I love the atmosphere. The crowd there is usually cool.

I found this just the typical fake Irish poub and had a "chain" feel to boot. The beer, such as it was wasnt served badly and the fgood was acceptable.

Do not bother going on a weekend night unless you enjoy mobs. Best to go during off hours with a big group of people - if you're lucky you might get seated at the big table with the funky high-back chairs made of tree trunks. Cordial, lively waitstaff.

Even though this place is always packed, the service staff does an excellent job of making sure your glass is always full. I found this place by pure accident while on business in Atlanta. It is a must see place!

A return trip only proved again, this is the best thing about Buckhead. Fado transports you to the heart of Ireland's pubs--and may well, damn do it even better. Warm, cozy, sweet in spirit, and grade A in brew and belly food. Go on a weeknight, to avoid the crowds, and Buckhead usuals--drop-outs from UGA in shorts, loafers, and Polo shirts. It's sad to think this hallowed-hall is mere blocks from the rot called 'urban hip-hop' clubs. While in Buckhead, stay with Fado, and venture not into the land of the OG's (original gangsters). Lest you become a victim of slashing switch-blades, and a gold-'toothfed' grin. No erected halogen bulb, can penetrate the darkness that is decending upon this once calm hamlet. Make Fado your oasis, and drift away brighter days.....

CELTIC HEAVEN! Forget it on the weekends, unless you like it loud, and shoulder to shoulder. A lucky weeknight, and you are in for a treat. All the great brews you would expect. Don't leave without trying the cider on tap! The food is the real deal, and perfect for a great night of treating oneself to something a bit different. It's really hard to leave this palce, once you have settled in....

One of the only place's I know of that serves Woodpecker Cider on draft. The corned beef and cabbage is to die for. and the Irish decor is very original.

There is no better place in Atlanta to enjoy a draft Guinness! The atmosphere is awesome, the food is great, and the beer can't be beat.

I love this place! It is a lively hangout with people in my age (28) group, and for the most part, the crowd is of good quality.
Whether it's summer or winter, Fado's is a fun place to frequent despite the sometimes challenging crowds!
The only suggestion I have for them is to change their menu from time to time.

Excellent place for beer and irish food. Cozy; nice "hideaway" areas. Can carry on conversations, at least in early afternoon.

Beer and food are both excellent. Atmosphere is charming (lots of nooks and knick-knacks). It's usually too crowded, even during the week, so finding a place to sit is a challenge. Parking sucks (it's Buckhead). Still, well worth the effort.

I have traveled to Ireland twice in the past 5 years. Not anything there as cool and awesome as Fado's! This includes Northern Ireland as well. I am very happy that my friends took me to Fado's.

Authentic, antique Irish decor. If you can, catch the Charms- a great celtic/rock band that often plays there. They go great with a Red Brick.

A bar in the truest sense of the word. Local favorite on draft:Red Brick. The usual Irish draft lineup. Good time had by all.
