Talking to Marty Beckman today who runs Groggs he says he no longer brews his own but has outsourced that part of the business.

I normally don't write negative reviews, but when things are really bad, they're bad. We stopped here this last weekend after spending a little bit of time finding the place.
Service? There were two waitresses onsite. One was getting the job done, and the one we had wasn't. We probably sat at our corner table for a good fifteen minutes, and not even a soft drink made it to the table. Our waitress was a little slow to get to our table, and then things seemed to go south after we said we didn't want any food. She virtually begged us to order something, but given that we'd already waited awhile, no thanks, we weren't going to wait an hour for something that would probably have been cold. So, she took our beer and soft drink order, and that was the end of our interaction. She then spent her time doing everything BUT waiting tables, as the other waitress took orders from neighboring tables and then fulfilled them. When one group came in, sat down next to us, got their drink order filled and their food order taken while we twiddled our thumbs, we decided that that was enough for us and we headed north to Salt Lake (where Squatters was eager to provide us with great beer and great service, but that's another story).
Food? The menu looked like your standard hamburgers and sandwich fare. What we saw go by looked and smelled really good.
Beer? There were five or six beers on tap, with a couple of fruity wheat beers -- the Apricot Wheat sounded interesting -- but as my sampler never made it to the table, I can't tell you much.
Consider me seriously disappointed in this place. My wife has ties to the Price area, and I was looking forward to sitting down with a good beer and maybe a bite to eat before heading onto our destination. There are plenty of other good places in Utah to visit that I can't recommend anybody's wasting their time on a place where the staff spends more time putting away glasses than they do filling them.

Stopped by on way to Moab. They no longer brew on premises; they contract out of Salt Lake City. Disappointing.

I tried the raspberry wheat and the apricot wheat. Both had a very strong flavor, and were quite good. The growler was a bit expensive or I would have taken some home. They have some interesting and unique food dishes, like a spinach deep that is fresh spinach laid on top of a sour cream smothered french bread. Delicious, although slow.

Dropped by in June 2003. Good stopping point between Moab/I-70 and SLC. This is a small little joint in a small little town. They only had 2 beers, neither of which were anything to write home about, but they were nice, and even a mediocre brewpub is better than no brewpub at all!

We stopped here for a late Saturday lunch while traveling from Moab to Salt Lake City in early May. There were five house beers plus a selection of A-B products that I won't dwell on. The house amber ale was drinkable but unremarkable. The pale ale was a nice example of the style. I did not try the porter, the raspberry wheat or the apricot wheat. We had very tasty sandwiches, served with a choice of some interesting sides - fresh German potato salad and broccoli slaw among them. Take the Carbonville Road turn-off from the US 6 bypass between Helper and Price.

4 different beers on tap, one of which was infected and had an obviously rancid taste. Nice place to stop when driving to Moab from Salt lake City.
