Shannon's got closed because (St. Paul mayor) Norm Coleman sold the building out from under them and didn't offer more than 10K to relocate. I will never vote for him!

I was sad to hear that this place is gone. My favorite thing about it is that they often featured the recipe of a local award-winning homebrewer as one of their selections. The food was standard pub grub, and the location somewhat deserted at night - which might be why they didn't make it. Too bad...

Good pub feel, the pale ale was one of the best I've ever had; definitely on my agenda should I get back to the area.

Waiter didn't know much about the selection. Charged us for a taste. Overall a poor experience. The location has potential.
