A classic dive bar, complete with sagging wallpaper, graffiti on the walls, and a mixed clientèle ranging from bikers to Goths to family groups. Great pizza and calzones, and the open kitchen allows a good view of the pizza dough being tossed in the air. Vinos is unusual in that it has no bar, only tables distributed through several rooms. You order at the counter, get your beer, find a table and the food is brought to you. They have live bands most nights on a stage in the back room, and it can get loud! Beers are excellent, and are available in growlers as well. I find the beers to be better than other reviewers have indicated, but I'm a recent transplant to LR and maybe things have changed. I know Vinos has taken medals at GABF in the past, so they must be doing something right. It's not the easiest place to find, but worth the trip.

Firehouse Pale Ale 4/10; Pinnacle IPA 4/10; Six Bridges Cream Ale 3/10. Rating is where 10 is best. Four beers brewed on-premises, on-tap. Very good calzone.

Still the funky little dive and holding up well.
Had the following beers: IPA-heavy hop, light malt and highly drinkable. Not too bad.
Octoberfest: very malty and smooth. A little different but still good.
Bock: very dark color, with a sharp/tangy taste and high ABV. Not sure about this but it was nice.
Pizza was great-I had to give 1/2 of it away.
Good place to go when in LR-definitely not in the style of your chain brewpubs.

While passing through Little Rock, I met a friend here for lunch. I was told they have excellent at Vino's and I was not disappointed! Their beers on tap were great too! It was interesting that they also had quite a few other craft-brews on tap including the local micro-brewery (Diamond Bear - located a few blocks away). Very nice laid back atmosphere. I was introduced to the owner, who is a very nice gentleman. Great casual place to enjoy pizza and beer!

Tried all the beers...all were fine. Tried most of the food items, also great. No pretentions here, the feel of a college diner. Cheap prices and very good beer and food. A real value!

Quite an ecclectic "hole in the wall." The pizza was good as was the beer. The stout was full bodied and the pale ale quite yummy too.

This is the most different pub I have ever been to. I've been to a lot. This place is a pizza joint with a brewery sectioned off in the dining area. There is a aluminum screen door on the front. Once you get past that, it is a really nice place. The beer, all I had was the IPA, was wonderful. The food very good, and once you figure out how things work, the service was top notch. I will go back.

Same old eclectic. funky spot I visited several years ago. Had the IPA (not as hoppy as I would like but good), ESB (very smooth, texturous, almost like a cask ale very good) and the STOUT (a little thin). Calzone was caloric and scrumptious. Lack of presumption,a neighborhood bar-feel and easy parking make Vino's a must stop when in Little Rock.

I visited here on 7/25/02 and had the following beers... Six Bridges Cream Ale, Summer Lager, Amber Wheat, Firehouse Pale Ale, Capitol Alt, Pinnacle IPA, & Lazy Boy Stout. My sampler was served in plastic cups. Gosh don't you just love the taste of plastic in your beer! The chef was very sloppy in assembling our calzones but they were edible. I did enjoy the music though. If only the IPA had some hops I would have had a nice visit.

A trip to "the Rock" is not complete without a meal and a beer session at Vino's. First of all, this place has very reasonable-to-low prices for a brewpub, and a casual atmosphere. No snob appeal whatsoever. The bathrooms are over-painted and covered with graffiti and there's a coin-op breathalyzer in the hallway! The food is the best thing about Vino's. The pizza and calzones are among the elite in their class. They are unpretentious with simple, high-quality unpretentious ingredients, cooked to perfection. Their beers range from so-so (cream ale) to awesome (Lazy Boy Stout). Lazy Boy is arguably the most "drinkable" dark ale in the US brewpub industry. Even people who say they don't like dark beer can appreciate a sip of it.

This was my first visit to Vino's and it is a great Brew Pub. I thought the Firehouse Ale was a little shy on hops (But, I'm a hop head) however the API was very good. If you are visiting Little Rock you have to give this place a try.

Vino's is an odd duck. During the day it's a businessman's lunch spot. At night, it's THE place to be for the hardcore punk music scene. The food is solid and the beer selection is above par. The key to really enjoying yourself is picking the right time to go. If you're wearing anything other than black and don't consider Black Flag to be the best band in the world, go before dark.

Good beer, great service and a relaxing atmosphere...for the pierced, tattooed or button-down collar set. Always on my list of places to stop by when I'm in town...can't beat the pizza anywhere! Best beer...Firehouse Ale!

Located in a nondescript commercial neighborhood between downtown and the State Capitol, Vino's is very casual and unpretentious but worth a visit. The clientele ranges from punkers to families to business people. The menu is primarily pizza and calzones, both of which are excellent. We found the beer to be excellent as well, with the ESB and a brown ale worthy of having more than one. You could do a lot worse in Little Rock than Vino's.

I've been here about 3 times. They only server Pizza type food, and cater to the younger crowd. The atmosphere is a dive. The owner is very friendly and loves to talk about his restaurant, but doesn't get involved in the brewing. Their beer quality is different everytime. It ranges from the best IPA I've ever had to not bad amber ale. The food is always good. I love the Calzones. BrewMAJ
