George's is not a place to go if you want to be lavished with service, but it IS the place to go to in order to have a great time with a large group of friends. Don't have any friends...just show up. You will make some. It is a Fayetteville landmark. Try the beer garden. Sit upstairs. Watch out for the old man dancing barefoot with the duct tape for arch supports.

It's just a bar, so it's got the typical beer selection: Bud-lite and whatever. However it's a great party atmosphere, it's friendly, like a Cheers-type bar, and the music's pretty good. Good hangout, but for better beer, there's a microbrew within staggering distance
