I was mislead (my own fault) by the web site in that I thought this was a pub. Like one of the other gents I walked quite a ways to get to the address only to find out this is a brewing and distribution center that closed at 5:30 and I was about :30 minutes late. No one cared thus my rating of lousy.

I HAVE HAD THE PORTEROUT OF THE BOTTLE. IT WAS OVER CARBONATED.AS SOON AS I OPENED THE BOTTLE A HEAD STARTED TO BUILD.AND FORGET ABOUT POUR IT INTO A GLASS.THE HEAD JUST BILLOWED OVER THE TOP. AFTER IT FINALLY SETTLED I HAD ABOUT FOUR OR FIVE OUNCES LEFT IN MY PINT GLASS.THEN I WAS ABLE TO TASTE IT.THE PORTER WAS OK BUT THE BEER WAS SO CARBONATED IT GOT IN THE WAY OF THE FLAVOR. NOT ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD.AND NOT WORTH WAITIN TEN MINUTES FOR IT TO SETTLE.

You others are nuts, they have probably the best beer in Boston, if not New England. Consistent, unique, and with integrity

They have a good selection of draught seasonal beers. The cask-conditioned bitter is great! Bottled beer isn't.

I did not get to taste any beer here. I walked quite a way to get to the place and they acted like I was a big bother. Not very friendly or appreciate of a potemtial good customer. Don't waste your time.

Their Tremont Ale was originally produced only in kegs and served in select Boston area pubs. Now, it is commercially available in bottles everywhere. Unfortunately, this once fine richly colored and flavored brew is now paler in color and flavor and is no longer worth seeking out. Maybe someday, it will return again in its original style.
